It’s NBA Finals time, but seeing as I just talked about that in yesterday’s piece, I think we should switch it up a little bit before today’s game. We’re a little over two weeks from the NBA Draft, but we still don’t have a firm grasp on what each team’s plans are. In other words, it’s Smokescreen Season!
There are rumors that multiple lottery teams could be shopping their picks due to the lack of superstar talent at the top of the draft, which could present ample opportunity for other teams to get in on the action a bit more. On the other side of the coin, some teams are considering trading out of the first round entirely as both a cost-saving measure and overall jadedness about this year’s class, regardless of how justifiable that thought process may be.
