The Suns Are An Unquantifiable Failure
Being the victim of a potential sweep is always bad. For the Suns, however, it's worse than just the emotions.
Part of writing about topics you have zero control over is finding out that you were terribly wrong. Eight days ago, I made the case that the Timberwolves could struggle to topple the Suns based on their previous teamwide woes against Phoenix. It turns out that I couldn’t have been more mistaken.
Currently, the Suns find themselves down 3-0 and in dire need of a miracle due to the heroics of Anthony “Mini-Jordan” Edwards. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that miracle will come — hence, Phoenix will likely be turning to the offseason to lick their wounds.
On top of that, they’ll become a tale of caution for the rest of the league due to not only their poor play, but their lack of future assets. Without some major shifting, losing to the Wolves could set the franchise back not just years, but possibly the next decade.
