In the NBA, speed can kill — it’s just a question of whether it’s going to kill you or your opponent. For a frame of reference, the Washington Wizards are number one in pace of play this year, yet they’re bottom 10 in both offensive and defensive rating — not to mention they’re 2-for-9 on the season.
