The Long Shots Part 2: 2024-25's Underdogs Who Could Steal Award Votes

It’s time for another round of Long Shots, following up on last week’s piece. If you missed it, the concept of the Long Shots is to pick players who could end up in the top-5 of voting in various NBA season awards (like MVP, ROTY, etc.), despite starting the year outside the top-5 of betting odds.
While I’m no betting man, I find it interesting to look at players who nobody is truly paying attention to in things like awards races, and we’re doing it again today.
Let’s just get right into it, shall we, with my Long Shot pick for MVP, which sees me assume that my past experiences could repeat themselves…
