MVP, DPOY, COTY, and...NBA Cup MVP?
Once again, we are back at it! Following up on last week’s Long Shots piece, it’s time to cover the quote-unquote “bigger” awards of the year — plus one that almost nobody cares about, but we’ll cover it anyway.
To jog your memory, long shot players are ones that are outside of the top 5 of FanDuel’s current odds, making them pretty solid dark horse picks for each award. Success will be gauged by whether or not the player jumps into the top 5 at the end of the season, which means I have to pick my spots a bit. Some picks may be absurd while others will be pretty much mundane, but it’s bound to be a fun exercise.
