Getting to the NBA Finals is no easy task for any team — of course, that seems obvious.

Yet, while the Boston Celtics are having a relatively easier time on their pathway to doing so, the Mavericks and Timberwolves are engaged in a slugfest of massive proportions. The Timberwolves, being down 0-2, appear to be fading quicker than we might have thought, while the Mavericks are surging behind the escapades of Luka Doncic and Co.

With that in mind, I figured it would be apt to take away 5 key things from the past two games as we go into Game 3 and the Wolves attempt to claw their way back into this series. Let’s take a look at what matters, what doesn’t, and what it means for both teams.
