It’s obligatory, inevitable, and every other synonym for guaranteed. It’s March Madness season, so we have to talk about March Madness!

The first round has come and gone with a few upsets (McNeese over Clemson!), some business-as-usual games (Houston’s walloping of SIU Edwardsville), and everything in between.

Instead of taking a look at the teams themselves, though, I want to take a look at some individual prospects who shined in the first round and, in the process, made me think about whether or not they’re real NBA guys. You won’t see me rave about Kalkbrenner as I did last week, as I want to focus on some of the players who don’t normally get tons of attention — which, if you know me, is somewhat my jam.

First up, a player who has gotten a bit of second-round attention but may force scouts to rethink his ceiling…
