Overhyped: Teams I Expect to Underperform This Season

Featuring the league's weirdest team, a big caveat, and Bad Vibes City

Yesterday, we took a look at the teams that I expected to overperform, based on their preseason over/unders (as compiled by ESPN). With that in mind, you can probably guess where I’m going today.

This feels like a season where a lot more teams are going to underperform vs. overperform, at least in my mind. Injuries were a major storyline last season and will likely be at the forefront of everyone’s mind this season, while the potential for major trades to shake up the standings will cause a lot of preseason “winners” to fall short of expectations by quite a bit.
