Tonight, we get yet another chance to see if Indiana can (again) usurp our expectations. For a series that was declared as extremely lopsided by bettors (-700 for OKC), the Pacers have shown us just how much value you should place in almost-too-good-to-be-true storylines, a storyline of which mainly surrounds Tyrese Haliburton (and, for reference, OKC is now -325).

Before tonight’s game, I want to talk about three things that I noticed from Game 1 and think could be of influence for the rest of the series, though, as we’ve seen, it’s becoming increasingly hard to determine what does and doesn’t matter when it comes to Indiana’s play.

Let’s just get right into it! First up, OKC figured out the gameplan, at least until they threw it away when it mattered most…
