Hey all!

For the past 3+ months, the overwhelming majority of my writing has pertained to the NBA — and for good reason, considering that’s kind of the primary gist of this newsletter. However, as I hinted in this past week’s roundup, I want to start putting a little bit of an eye on the college game.

Normally, that would constitute me raving about the talents of Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey, and all the rest of the top-10 picks in what looks like an incredibly deep class. While that time will come, today I want to talk about the guys that may be victimized by the fact that the 2025 class’ depth, those who probably would have gotten drafted last year had they been eligible or played the same as they are now.

It’s worth noting that I am definitely not a professional scout, but I believe I’ve watched enough basketball to know who I like and why. And, because this is supposed to be fun, some of these guys are your definitive vibes players — they’re good, but they feel so much better because of the way they play. They may go undrafted this year should they declare for the draft, but if I include them here, I likely think they’re good enough to take a look at on a two-way contract.

Enough exposition from me — let’s talk about some of these guys, shall we?
