Mark Williams is The Perfect Janitor
The Hornets have found a gem in their young clean-up big man
I do a lot of hating on the Hornets, as many of you know. I don’t know what it is about the team, to be honest. I love the jerseys, the logo is tasteful, and the fans seem friendly — I just dislike the soul of the team itself. The actual embodiment and manifestation of the Charlotte Hornets seem to rub me the wrong way. It’s never personal, always business, I suppose.
However, you have to give some credit where credit is due on occasion. With that in mind, I think it’s about time I give some of the Hornets’ squad some love. Mark Williams, the Hornets’ 21-year-old big man, has recently caught my eye from both a statistical perspective and with his actual play on the court. Every team should want a guy like him, and it comes down to his ability to clean up everyone else’s nonsense — along with a good helping of elbow grease along the way. Without further ado, welcome to the first article I have ever written about the Hornets in a positive manner.
