Injury Aside, Here Comes Ben Simmons (Again)
After what feels like an eternity later, Ben Simmons looks like the man he once was.
Shorter post today; more of a vent/intrigue piece, I suppose. It could also be an overreaction, but, hey, that’s the fun of it!

I don’t have to tell you the story of Ben Simmons. 6-foot-10, drafted first overall in 2016, former All-Star and Sixer, defensive menace — and, of course, what could be seen as a cautionary tale. After passing up a wayward dunk against the Hawks in Game 7 back in 2021, his career has gone from star, to trade piece, to the Nets’ injury-prone semi-liability.
Yet, he came back once again earlier this week, only to get injured again — this time doesn’t look too serious, however. Look between the media headlines and you’ll find that Simmons tore up the court in his return. Yes, it’s been since Monday, so I’m not exactly timely here, but here’s the thing: I’m willing to bet that he’s back in business. Here’s why.
